Town in a box
At a first glance this unique building has no particular form. But when you look at it more closely you will notice that it is different from every angle. And this is probably the main reason we like it so much.
We are in a hurry to tell you that the construction that attired our attention today is the new cultural center of Yalova – industrial city in northwestern Turkey, situated on the edge of the Marmara Sea.
The innovative complex is a creation of the architects from Emre Arolat Architects, studios based in Istanbul. Some of their other projects can be found here.
The Art Center in Yalova is not made of bricks, as we once thought, but from… perforated metal boxes.
